Take in the Big Island of Hawai’i as you haven’t before, and snorkel at two of South Kona’s most precious treasures –Pu’uhonua O Honaunau and Kealakekua Bay. Listen as the captains relays stories detailing the rich cultural and geological history of the Island. Explore the sea caves, lava tubes, and see the diverse marine life that’s abundant off of the shores of Kona. Snacks, top of the line snorkeling gear, and flotation devices included. You simply show up with your towel and reef-safe sunscreen and away we go. With a maximum of only 14 guests per tour, the Deluxe Morning Adventure is a personal and unique snorkeling adventure not to be missed.

What To Expect
Sea Quest Hawaii
Guests will visit two snorkel locations, Kealakekua Bay, Captain Cooks Monument; and Puʻuhonua O Honaunau, the Place of Refuge. Our captain and crew will share the history and culture as they explore sea caves and lava tubes.

My best snorkeling experience ever! Capt Lauren and mate Alex were outstanding!
Capt was very knowledgeable about Hawaii, its history and its geography, making the trip educational as well as fun. Speedy vessel made for a fabulous extended time for snorkeling at two great snorkeling sights.

Amazing Private Snorkeling Tour

Brendan and Alex were amazing! Our family did a private snorkeling tour. The captain, Brendan, was so knowledgeable of Hawaiin history and he and Alex knew all the fish we saw. They made everything comfortable and so fun. We have been coming to the Hualalai Four Seasons resort for years and done lots of snorkeling. This was by far the best excursion we have done and will do it year after year now.

The whole experience was great - from the moment we checked in with Bethany and when we stepped back on land. Parking is a bit of a pain and you have to park up the street so factor in that time. Equipment was clean and functioning. I’m glad she convinced me to use the prescription masks even though I’m in denial about my distance sight abilities. The boat ride is fun and with the constant fast air flow, even the more delicate members of my party were fine. Got to take in the breathtaking costs before our first snorkel spot. Lots of fish, easy to get in and out of the little boat. Nice to have a smaller crowd and the first site was quiet and not busy. When we boarded, we had fresh fruit and other snacks. Then we headed to the Captain Cook monument, which was packed with people. Still a lovely spot to see fish and admire the coral reefs (don’t stand on the coral, people!!). Lunch was in nice little boxes with chips and chocolates to round out. Ride back was fun and got to learn more about the geography and history. We had such a great time that we signed up for the Manta Ray swim later this week! Highly recommend the smaller 14 person craft.

Beautiful day . . . fairly calm waters . . . which the 5 Humback whales enjoyed as they entertained us!
Appreciated Capt. Brenden taking the time to stop, share information about the whales and allowing us to see and appreciate what a wonderful sea creature that they are. Awesone!
Capt. Brenden shared Isand, sea life and local history with us most of the time. Very informative and appreciated.
We were also able to see Hawaiian spinner dolphins. What a beautiful day in warm waters, sea life above and below the waters.
Highly recommend service . . . come and enjoy yourself!

Amazing Snorkeling Experience

My fiancée and I signed up for a morning snorkeling trip to kick off her birthday, and Skylar and Adam didn't disappoint. Roughly 3 mins after leaving the dock some humpback whales greeted us. After our first snorkeling spot, we had three dolphins follow us to our second snorkeling spot – they were very playful in and out of the water. Both snorkeling spots were great and met many fish and other creatures. They provided some snacks including juice, chips, fruit, chocolate, and cookies. We received some great history lessons about Hawaii and some of the meanings behind locations and names. We both would come back to them for this kind of excursion or even the Night Manta Ray experience.

Kortney and Captain Skyler were phenomenal! Very accommodating and knowledgeable.
New to snorkeling? One of the people on our boat was. She was very apprehensive on the trip out. When she returned to the boat after the first of our TWO swims she couldn’t wait to do it again.

Awesome snorkeling trip

We had so much fun on this trip. Captain Steve and his crew member Courtney were wonderful. Captain Steve told us so much history of the island and they were both so kind, patient and friendly with everyone. Along with seeing some of the caves and sights, they took us to two different bays to snorkel so we got to see so many different fish and beautiful coral reefs. I would highly recommend this.
