Great fishing experience

Captain Chad, and Captain Sandy, an absolutely amazing father and son duo, extremely knowledgeable with over 30 years of fishing and boating experience. These guys were by far the best crew I have ever been out fishing with. I have been deep sea fishing off both coasts of the mainland multiple times, none of those experiences even came close in comparison to this outing. I STRONGLY recommend you take a trip out on the bite me 1! Mahalo nui loa fellas
The Marlin won

Great experience, we were able to hook two Marlins on the excursion. Caught one, one was lucky enough to get away after a exhausting fight. Experience of a lifetime. Captain Chad and crew were great.
Friendly, experienced charter

My son, father in law and I took the 4 hour sport fishing charter with Bite Me 1 fishing charter. Captain Chad and his father Sandy were knowledgeable, and friendly. We were shown how to get up to the helm, but weight and gravity kept me on the boats floor. Fishing is a 50/50 shot and we were the lesser 50. Did have couple bites, but nothing struck. Which is not the crews fault. Had a great time out. Even though we didnt catch anything. Thank you Capt Chad and Sandy.
Great Day

Brittany and Cpt Andy were great. Had a great day of fishing. I reeled in a Blue Marlin that was 103in and about 250lbs. Brittany's encouragement ensured I kept reeling when I was definitely wanting to slow down. Great professionalism as we released it so others have the opportunity of a lifetime.
OK for the experience.

It was a 4 hour zig-zag off the coast of Kailua-Kona. No food and beverage so bring your own. There will be 6 guests and if you are lucky one "hit" on the five rods loaded only with a lure (no bait). Once there is a fish on a hook, the Captain will designate one person to reel in the fish so basically you are most likely to do nothing but watch and breath diesel fumes for 4 hours. Our one fish on the hook ended in disappointment with the fish ending up taking the entire reel of line out to sea. The line didn't break, but instead is just emptied the reel so that in the end there was an empty brass spool. I have deep sea fished in the Atlantic, the Gulf of Mexico and now the Pacific, so call it an experience. Still liked the other passengers, the Captain and the mate. If you have lots of time in Hawaii, then probably worth the experience.
