Our most popular tour! Watch a legendary Kona sunset from our spacious 50’ catamaran as you sail the Kona coast, followed by the adventure of a lifetime - snorkeling with the majestic manta rays! Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, hot cocoa and cookies included.

- Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
- Children under the age of 5 are not allowed in the water and MUST be accompanied by an adult on the vessel at all times

- Minimum drinking age is 21 years
- Not recommended for travelers that are not strong swimmers. If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries

- We offer validated parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. The parking charge is $10 for up to 5.5 hours. Please bring your parking ticket with you to check-in.

This adventure lived up to the hype. We saw manta rays non-stop during our time in the water. We even saw whales on the way. The crew was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!
Kona Style Manta Ray snorkel

Such an amazing experience, definitely a must-do while visiting the big island. We seen about a dozen mantas, one of which was inches from touching us. Thank you Kona Style for giving us the experience of a lifetime.
5 STAR everything!

The check in was easy at their retail location. It is located directly across from the Kailua-Kona Pier. We then walked over as a group and easily boarded the boat. The boat is big and comfortable, and the crew was a lot of fun! They played great music, served us NA drinks, danced a little bit, and just kept the energy high. My family and I really enjoyed the smooth water sailing while the sunset over the horizon. Afterwards the staff passed out wetsuits and snorkel gear. Once we arrived at the manta sight, they were quick to anchor, unload their floating light board, give us a safety briefing. The raft is only a 15ft swim off the back of their boat so it is easy to get to even if you are not the strongest swimmer. They provide flotation noodles as well. But truly all you need to do is hold onto the raft, noodles under your lower body, and float still while the mantas swim all around you. We saw about 5-7 large mantas swimming acrobatics directly underneath us. At one point they were so close I thought we were going to rub belly with them. My daughter got cold but Kona Style staff took care of her. They escorted her to the boat, got her a towel, and served her hot coca so my wife and I could continue to enjoy the mantas. 5 star service, 5 star boat, 5 star experience. 5 star everything! Manta Ray Tour

The crew was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had a wonderful ride out to the viewing spot. Once situated, we saw numerous rays. They swam below at about 15 feet. They are magnificent creatures! The water was 78 degrees. To help you stay warm, they provide everyone with a dive shirt. Even wearing that we were very cold before we returned to the boat. Thank goodness for the hot tea and cocoa graciously served by the crew! I highly recommend this tour.
Manta Rays

Great way to enjoy the beautiful sunsets on the ocean. The manta rays are absolutely beautiful in their natural habitat just gliding by you as they feed , we were lucky to have seen 10 manta rays . The captain and crew are great making sure you comfortable snorkeling at night. I highly recommend Kona Style they do it with Aloha!!!
