Amazing Experience for Beginners

My sister and I did a group surf with Kona Town Surf and it was amazing! We’d never surfed before and we were able to get up more than once on our boards by the end of the lesson. You do need to be a confident swimmer to try surfing, there is a lot of paddling involved. But, the instructors are very supportive, knowledgeable, and made you feel comfortable on the waves. I highly recommend this group.

Great time!! My friend and I took a lesson from Zion while our wives watched from the beach. (The beach isn’t too sandy, moreso gravel) Zion was great! We picked it up pretty quickly…wish there were a few bigger waves, but they can’t really control that part. Fun experience!

This was mine and my friends first surf lesson ever and it couldn't have been more fun. Our instructor Victor was absolutely amazing. He made sure that we had all the safety instructions down and had the basics before we even went into the water. He had us go over the motions a couple times before taking us into the ocean. Once we got out to the swells we got started and it was tons of fun. We even managed to stand up a few times. Victor was always quick to praise us for a job well done but also to instruct us on what could be improved. It was a great day in the sun and on the water. Would definitely go surfing again. Highly recommend this company.

Booked from the mainland with no ideas but they did not disappoint. This family affair was truly welcoming and treated us like Ohana from the start. What an experience for our family and friends.

I had an awesome time in my 2 hour lesson with Brady and Matt - they made the experience so fun, and as a first-time surfer I even got up on the board a couple of times! Highly recommend
