The Kona Coast of Hawaii is considered the primary place in the world to view manta rays after sunset. During this approx 2 -hour snorkeling tour with a knowledgeable guide, watch these extraordinary creatures feed on plentiful plankton attracted by underwater lights. With wingspans that can reach more than 20 feet (6 meters) across, manta rays have no teeth or barb on the tail. The tour is really fun and manta ray is in front of my face. I feel a little bit scary in the beginning, and I quickly get used to it.
Tour guide Buddha is really hospitality. But I think for those who cannot swim this may not the right experience.

The crew were amazing, funny and very aware of those who were not comfortable and was struggling a bit in the water. They camped them down and made the best manta show for them. Awesome job! And what an amazing manta show is was. We had easily 8-9 manta with a 10 footer. So cool, can’t wait to do it again.

We cannot emphasise enough what a fantastic experience this was. To be so close to these wonderful creatures is a privilege not to take lightly and although we have a week left in Hawaii it will remain the highlight of our trip to these islands.
We can heartily recommend Chris and Budda as guides/ sailors/ fonts of knowledge/ raconteurs and they were the icing on the top of a very good cake.
If you visit Big Island this is a must!

Kris and BUDDHA were the best! Safe! Small group! Lots of love and care went into our time on this trip. It was efficient, the boat trip felt safe, we got to see whales, learn about mantas, and saw Three of them during our snorkel. Can’t recommend these guys enough!

You gotta experience this while visiting Big Island. I was nervous about the boat ride, but it was super smooth and nice. I recommend booking 5:30 tour, because we got to see whales and dolphins on our way, tour at 8 doesn't get to see any of that. The crew took a bunch of pictures and videos that were shared with us at the end of the tour (free of charge). They even recorded under the water with the GoPro, which was super cool.

Incredible experience! The mantas are so beautiful and graceful and they get so close to you! The crew was friendly and helpful, with entertaining explanations, fun playlists, and drinks snd snacks.

Possibly one of the most magical experiences of my life. Lena, Diego and the third person whose name I forgot were excellent.
But if you get sea sick, bring Dramamine.

We originally had the 8 reservation, disappointed when cancelled and rebooked 530 as we were worried it wouldn’t be as good a show. Completely wrong, don’t worry. Anyone forced to rebook, 530 is great…mantas only come out in the dark which we saw plenty of. Had added bonus of earlier departure had both a whale and extensive dolphin show. Obviously not a guaranteed siting but maybe we were lucky to have this extra benefit. Great crew. Very chill and female mate took great gropro pics she shared with everyone at end. All thumbs up
