El permiso exclusivo de Aloha Kayak Co. para lanzar y aterrizar en ambos lados de la bahía tiene un límite de 12 invitados por visita guiada. Se permiten 2 recorridos diarios, una tarde y una mañana. Una vez en el agua en uno de los lugares de kayak más prístinos del mundo, visitarás un Distrito de Conservación de la Vida Marina (MLCD) protegido mientras te narran sobre la historia y la cultura de la zona. En el camino a nuestro destino, tendrá la oportunidad de ver aguas cristalinas, templos hawaianos antiguos, cuevas funerarias, imponentes acantilados marinos y ver a los delfines girando y descansando en su hábitat natural. Pasaremos tiempo explorando el área de snorkel del Capitán Cook Monument, haciendo snorkel en una de las plataformas de coral más prístinas del mundo, abundante en vida salvaje y paisajes submarinos impresionantes. The Captain Cook Monument
Este tour se considera nuestro tour principal y el más fácil de todos los tours que ofrecemos. El kayak es de impacto leve y ofrece el tiempo de snorkel más largo de todos nuestros tours. This was the best thing we did on the Big Island! We like to be active and learn about the places we are visiting, and the 5 hour Kayak + Snorkel with Aloha Kayak Co. ticked all those boxes. We were lucky to have owner Iwa as our guide. He knows so much about local history, and I enjoyed his anecdotes about growing up on the island. The water was a bit choppy, and landing the kayaks and even getting out of the water after snorkeling was not easy for us beginners. We felt taken care of by Iwa. He gave clear instructions and helped us navigate getting in and out of the water. I was impressed with the thoughtfulness at providing water and snacks before and after paddling, in addition to the lunch. I highly recommend kayaking and snorkeling in Kealakekua Bay with Iwa and Aloha Kayak Co.!

Aloha Kayak is one of three companies where you're actually allowed to land on the monument grounds. All other companies or rented kayaks have to float offshore. Travis was our guide and he did a great job especially when he took the time to dive into the water with us to show us things we missed while swimming around. This company takes smaller groups which makes it more personal. Also, kayaking is the way to go since you get to be out on the water and even see dolphins if you're lucky!

My wife and I are in Hawaii for our honeymoon and had an absolutely fantastic time on this trip; Travis was a great guide - super friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the things to see. He has extensive knowledge about the marine life in the area, showed us dolphins doing flips, and even dove down to point things out to us while we snorkeled. Unquestionably the most legit way to do the Captain Cook tour, as many other companies doing it lack the permits to actually land on the shore. Would absolutely recommend this!

Amazing experience! Travis, our guide, was awesome. I wouldn’t do a snorkel trip any other way now! We had way more fun than any of the other large group tours in the big boats looked like they were having. The kayaking was amazing and we had spinner dolphins swimming all around us as we headed to the monument. It’s also clear that Aloha cares for and respects the island and has a deep understanding of the history and lore. Thanks so much for a great adventure!
Great snorkeling and kayak adventure

We loved this trip! On the way to captain cook Travis showed us where dolphins often hang out and we got to see some! Travis was an awesome guide and even showed us a baby shark. The snorkeling was great! Clear water and so many varieties of fish. Highly recommend!
