Our guide, Doug, was just terrific! He talked about the significance of the area to Hawaiian culture and told us so many interesting stories. His advise and guidance were amazing and we always felt safe and secure when boarding and unboarding the kayak plus safely entering the snorkel area. Plan on adding this trip to your big island plans…you’ll thank me later!

Great time kayaking and snorkeling. Doug. Our guide did a great job explaining the history of the area. As a bonus, a school of Dolphins swam within 20 yards from us giving quite a show.
Great kayaking and snorkeling comb excursion!

Kayaking for a little over a mile to Kealakekua Bay (and back) with this kayak-and-snorkel combo adventure was amazing. And, the snorkeling in these protected reefs was the best we experienced on the Big Island. We were a family of four, two parents and two adult children and definitely recommend and do again!
Nice combo of snorkel and kayak

Great to have a guide who knows the land and the history. 3 hours flew by! A bit tricky getting in and out of the water and kayak but Doug was always there to help.
Highlight of the Trip
