Paddle 30 minutes across the emerald green and cobalt blue waters of Kealakekua Bay. As you paddle below 600' high cliffs in two person kayaks, look for spinner dolphins that playfully leap and spin. Arrive at the calm waters of Ka'awaloa cove to snorkel and explore above coral gardens and colorful tropical fish on this kayak & snorkel tour of Kealakekua Bay. Splash in refreshing, crystal clear water and explore the underwater terrain for up to an hour. Enjoy stepping on British soil as we visit famous Capt. Cook Monument, enjoying the unique experience of landing where Captain James Cook first landed in the Hawaiian Islands. Group sizes are capped at 12 people to ensure a personalized trip on this 2.5 - 3 hour adventure.

Captain Cook Snorkeling Trip

Our group really enjoyed the experience. Our guides, Scott and Mike, were pleasant and informative. They explained clearly what we as guests needed to do to keep ourselves safe and how we could protect the environment we were visiting. We were fortunate to see both whales and porpoises! The crew spent ample time for us to observe both!

Doug and Josh were great guides. They give you the history of captain cook and Hawaiian people. They also are very helpful on the trip and take care of you and your safety.

The “Doug and J Sea Show” was fantastic! They gave us a lot of history of the location and are able to help with snorkeling tips that helped my claustrophobic husband really enjoy snorkeling for the first time. We felt more like we were with friends than with guides. Highly recommend them!

We loved JC and Doug! They knew their history and really respected the coral reef. The entire trip was amazing and we would love to come back and do more kayaking with them! Make sure you bring “REEF SAFE” sunscreen, not “REEF FRIENDLY”..
