A three hour tour you won't want to miss! Set Sail down the Majestic Kona Coastline with breathtaking views of landscaped ledges of ancient lava flows. As you arrive at the "World Famous Captain Cook Monument" your snorkeling adventure will begin in the turquoise waters and vibrant reef of the marine sanctuary of Kealakekua Bay. Make sure to bring an underwater camera to capture the colorful schools of fish, pods of spinner dolphins that are also commonly spotted in the bay. “Hawaii The Big Island Revealed” guide book says, “snorkeling in Kealakekua Bay near the monument is perhaps the best you will find anywhere in the state”.

An Amazing Experience at Captain Cook Monument!

The afternoon sail and snorkel to the Captain Cook Monument was amazing! The Sea Paradise crew were amazing, communicative and extremely thorough! They did a great job. The 40 minute trek to the Captain Cook monument was pleasant and calm. The crew gave us all complimentary drinks and fruit. The reef snorkel was incredible as well! We were able to see a ton of marine wildlife, including sea urchin, reef fish and eels. It was a great time and I highly recommend this excursion to anyone who is wanting to have a great time on the big island of Hawaii!

Just a great boat ride and beautiful snorkeling experience, booked last minute as we were leaving Kauai and as I have not snorkeled the ocean before loved snorkeling the reef, my wife stayed on boat and saw dolphins !

Great experience! One of our favorites of our vacay…Snorkeling site has a lot of fish to see and the sailing boat is outstanding very nice, clean and the crew was so friendly, knowledgeable and so helpful. Highly recommended!

We love this boat and her crew! This trip was in early January of 2023. We have to compliment the crew, they were great with our mom! It was her first time snorkeling. Mom was hesitant, but the crew was so patient. Mom was given an extra noodle and a lot of extra attention by the staff so that she felt comfortable in the water. The reef was magical that day, we saw many fish. We even spotted a humpback whale on the way to and from the bay, as well as mantas feeding during the day on our return trip. Apparently the mantas had been missing for a time, but we saw them that day. If anyone is curious, the design of this boat made it easy for our older mother that doesn't have great joints to make it easily into and out of the water. I highly recommend!!

The crew was very friendly, fun and experienced. When one of my children got seasick, they helped him out and made sure he was OK after- they gave him a place to discretely was off, and offered him ginger ale or ginger chews, and gave him advice. Once we arrived the snorkel he was afraid to go in the water- a kind staff member helped him get some courage and he loved it. The captain also gave us a whale presentation when we came upon a pair that had just arrived from Alaska. Great trip!

Awesome visibility near the Cook monument. Great crew . Cocktails were delicious. Dive equipment was brand new and the catamaran was well maintained.

The crew was helpful and informative. Appreciated the cleanliness of the vessel, topside and downside, especially separate restrooms for m/w with enough space to do a wardrobe change after the snorkel. They made snorkeling easy for the beginner.
