Hilo Hawaii is home to some of Hawaii’s most fertile fishing grounds and has less fishing pressure than Kona, making it virtually untapped. Our crew of skilled fishermen are here to help you in catching Hawaiian Pelagic fish, targeting Ono (wahoo), Mahi Mahi (Dorado), and the prized Ahi (tuna). As one of a few fishing charter boats in East Hawaii, you can expect to be out on an uncrowded fishing experience in remote Big Island waters.

Amazing experience with Captain Kimo

This has been by far the best fishing charter that I have experienced. Our first trip had to be unfortunately cancelled due to extremely poor weather conditions, but captain Kimo met my wife and I at the harbor to explain that the conditions were dangerous to be out in. Captain Kimo went to the local office with us to reschedule our trip to a better day. Our next two trips out with him were nothing short of a first class trip. The captain did everything from explaining safety before entering the seas to helping us catch all of our fish and even went out of his way to clean and package our catch!!!! He taught me how to clean mahi mahi and tuna properly. Along our guided charter, Captain Kimo showed us the routes along the sea for whale watching, taught us how to safely operate a charter boat, took pictures for us and many other unforgettable experiences!! Thank you for everything that you do and for our amazing Hawai’i experience!!
