What To Expect
Hawaii Volcanoes National Park
Travelers will take of from Hilo Airport where they will fly directly to the volcanoes national park. Along the way they will see orchid farms and lush native forest that are in large part only found on big island. The volcanoes national park gives breathtaking views of lava flows both old and new.

Don’t miss seeing before sunrise or after sunset!!

Get up early and walk the 1 mile on Old crater rim trail to see the crater before sunrise. Spectacular! You can see all the little fizzures that make up the whole crater

We took this helicopter tour of the volcanoes during our recent trip to Hawaii.
Cookie & Stef prepared us for our tour on the ground by going through the safety procedures and what to expect. Sam piloted the helicopter while providing commentary and answering all our questions. We got to see the volcanoes and waterfalls but missed out on seeing any whales.
Would highly recommend this tour!

You won't be disappointed. The pilot takes the helicopter out right before the tour to ensure visibility. If it's not optimum you can reschedule or they refund your money Our pilot David is an excellent aviator and tour guide, plus he has a kick ass playlist. Everyone is super helpful and friendly. Kit, Cookie and Stephanie answered questions about the area. They truly want you to have an awesome experience and we did!

Our first time in a helicopter and Sam did an excellent job narrating what we were seeing. We had a perfectly clear day so the sites and terrain were beautiful We had been tot he park the day before and had seen the eruptions and crater at night (which is amazing). That made it easy to understand exactly what you are seeing.
