Overview
Botanical World's Zip Line is the most exciting zipline in Hawaii and possibly the world. With 8 lines gradually building to the last two that are dual side-by-side zips to share with a friend. The Grand Finale is over a huge 330 foot (100 meter) gorge with a 250 foot (76 meters) waterfall. Our Zip Isle zip Line Adventure is the longest operating zip line on the Big Island operating since 2009 with an unblemished safety record. With each of the 8 zip lines the excitement builds as the lines get longer as you continue to be thrilled. The amazing views from the suspension bridge will give a story to tell of true Hawaii as you pass the HUGE mango tree hundreds of years old that may have seen Kamehameha walking along the rapids of the stream gorge below. Your guides share the many secrets of the plants, let you taste fruits and spices and relay the history of this unique setting in the rain forest.

I WAS a little afraid of heights but this adventure experience changes that for me.
The guides Kai and Scott were very fun and experienced and their confidence and competence extended to reduce my fears.
There were about 8 or 9 zips and they would get progressively bigger and longer, and along the way I think the wood suspension bridge was probably the scariest part, but I was also clipped into cables on one side so I was not afraid of falling off.
During the adventure Kai and Scott showed us the many varieties of fruits on the property, star fruit, varieties of guava, apple bananas, coffee berries (yes coffee beans inside those) and we even got a taste of lemon drip mangosteen, but that delicacy isn’t always available.
So much fun. If you are thinking of zip lining I’d sign up for this one I highly recommend it!
We had 3 in our group ages 77, 79 & 90! Some of the walking on uneven ground and climbing was a bit of a struggle but the guides were always helpful, lending an arm to lean on. We are really happy we faced our fears and got inspired to get in better shape!!
