- Not recommended for pregnant travelers in an advanced pregnancy
- Recommended to bring towel, clothes for change, sweatshirt or light jacket
- Regularly sanitised high-traffic areas
- Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled by the supplier, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- Age restriction: minimum age allowed is 2 years old; maximum age allowed is 70 years old (unless approved by the supplier)

Wonderful time with the entire family watching the mantas.
The staff were super welcoming and helpful and the boat very well set up and designed.
We all had a fabulous time. Only slightly down side is that it gets a bit cramped when hanging onto the floating bar/watching station.
Otherwise fab!!

10/10 Highly recommend this once in a lifetime experience with Jacob and his crew. They were super attentive and always made us feel safe and comfortable both on the boat and in the water. As soon as we got in the water the mantas put on an INCREDIBLE show for the entire 30 minutes majestically barrel rolling and swooping by - in total we saw about 8 rays which they did say was more than average, but it was so fantastic! It was an amazing experience made better by a great tour operator (they provided wet suit jackets, snorkel gear, and pool noodles to help you float). The boat was large and comfortable with drinks, snacks, and a hot shower after the snorkel. Would definitely book with Hang Loose Boat Tours again! Thank you!

This was by far the best experience we had on Big Island. See these massive creatures swimming inches from you was such as surreal experience. Also, we were lucky to see not 1 but 5 manta rays swimming under us which was the icing on the cake! Very Professional crew.. Highly recommended!

These majestic creatures were one of the best experiences on the Big Island. The guides were great. They made me feel safe and relaxed. Snacks and beverages were supplied. The boat ride was fun. I consider myself an okay swimmer and novice snorkeler. I had no problem at any point. We had many Manta Rays to view. They swam within inches of us. We were in the water for about 30 minutes. This was more than enough time as my arms were getting a bit fatigued. I highly recommend this experience. If you can afford to buy or rent a water resistant camera do it! Shout out to Jacob and his team at Hang Loose.

AMAZING adventure. Really enjoyed the experience. The crew was knowledgeable and reassuring for everyone. They were able to share many facts about the rays with us and provided clear directions. Plenty of time in the water. Recommending this group to anyone who's visiting big island in the future.

The manta rays come right up to you, like inches from your face. It was a really memorable experience, and had a blast seeing these things up close like that. There was a school of fish hanging out with us the whole time too, which was cool to see too. Planet Earth, in real life!
