In Kona our visitors have the rare treat to experience a Manta Night Snorkel. The occurrence of an accumulation of plankton off of the shoreline makes for an incredible Night Manta Snorkel show that you get to be a part of. Like all of our tours we treat the Manta Night Snorkel with respect by not disturbing these gentle giants in their habitat.  We abide by the established  Manta Ray Tour Operators Guidelines. It is a privilege for us to take you on this trip and we do not take it for granted. The experience of seeing these massive gentle creatures in the wild is exhilarating. Best experience in Hawaii so far! Captain Bill, Karen and the rest of the crew were so professional and knowledgeable. We saw tons of Mantas and even got to snorkel for 20-30 minutes before we started looking for Mantas. Once the Mantas started coming around, it was almost nonstop for about 30 minutes. I would highly recommend Manta Adventures. I noticed that other tours show up and leave the same Manta viewing spot much quicker that our tour did but Captain Bill and his crew took their time with us to ensure our safety and comfort. This experience was top notch! Hopefully if you book with them, you get Captain Bill as his homemade chocolate chip cookies were so good after being in the water so long!

Great experience! Very professionally run, safe, and informative. Crew is very friendly and knowledgeable, and if our trip was any indication they are very good at finding/attracting the mantas! Our group was fairly big (around 24 people) but it was fine and the crew was very good at moving things along so there was not much waiting around for things. The water was calm, nobody got seasick, and we saw 4 or 5 mantas dancing right in front of us almost constantly the whole time in the water. The crew is also great at delivering a play-by-play so there’s informative commentary to keep things interesting while you’re floating with your face in the water for such a long time (maybe 30-40 minutes?). Loved it! I definitely recommend this tour!

Capt Bill was flawless. Really looked out for our safety. Karen was incredibly knowledgeable and Josh was willing to help with anything! The Mantas are beautiful and amazing creatures. Unfortunately when the other boats showed up, it got a little crowded and one bot allowed their passengers to jump off all side of the boat and 2 of them landed on the Mantas! Makes me so furious. Its Captains that allow that and passengers that disregard all rules who put these amazing adventures and wonderful beings at so much risk. Our entire crew made sure to let them know they were in the wrong. But our trip was the first out there and the last to leave. We go extra time with the Mantas. Can't Bill cut us pineapple and even made cookies for after the swim! Bring a warm change of clothes cause the ride back is very chilly after sunset!

This was a great tour with a great crew. Swimming with the Manta Rays was a real thrill and we found out a lot about how they live, survive, and thrive. My wife and I had a great experience and totally enjoyed it!!

Group of 8 in a family on a boat of 22 participants. Husband, Wife, 4 adult children, grandson (age 12) and a significant other.
We had a great crew with Brian and Karen. They were knowledgeable and attentive.
As far as what we saw... Nothing less than AMAZING! We saw at least 10 Manta doing the back looping within 3 inches of our faces. For the entire time. We seemed to be on the best boat in the area with high tech lighting and holding platforms. One of the most amazing things I have ever seen!!

My brother (God rest his soul) told us we had to do the night time manta ray snorkel in Hawaii, so we just did this evening. Absolutely amazing!!! Manta Adventures has the right light set up and we saw continual manta rays for 45 minutes straight. At times there were 7 mantas below us, and some came within inches of us while they fed!!!
Captain Bill, and his crew: Karen & Dani were fantastic. They really focussed on safety, but also gave us great info and were awesome crew.

The entire experience from check-in to docking was amazing. The crew, Captain Bill, Karen and Brian were fantastic. They made you feel very comfortable and were very informative about the manta rays and the entire process. We had an wonderful experience being able to view 14 manta rays that evening. I totally recommend this outfit for your manta ray experience.
Too crowded but lots of manta rays

The many’s ray experience itself was great and the tour guides were very hospitable and accommodating. The only thing that completely ruined this tour for me was the amount of guests on the boat. There was over 24 ppl and it was crowded. I don’t do well in confines, crowded spaces and I wish I would have known it was going to be very crowded and I would have opted for a small group tour. Other than that, they delivered on the manta rays and their level of ocean expertise.
