Este passeio parte do porto de Keahou em South Kona e desfruta de um curto passeio de barco de 5 minutos até o nosso local de mergulho, Manta Village.
Seu capitão e guia de snorkel o ensinarão sobre as famosas arraias manta de Kona e discutirão nossa abordagem segura e humana para se envolver com os gigantes gentis.
Depois de entrar na água, você se segurará em nosso quadro de luz, com os pés apoiados em dispositivos de flutuação, enquanto as arraias executam um gracioso balé abaixo de você. O filtro de arraias manta se alimenta de plâncton que naturalmente se acumula na superfície pouco antes do pôr do sol e depois se acumula sob nossas luzes. The crew was great ! I had no snorkeling experience , I am not a strong swimmer . I was very nervous . I followed instructions and I did fine . It was an amazing experience ! I highly recommend it! It was the highlight of my vacation ! Thank you !

The night snorkel with mantas is a must-do on the Big Island! One of the most incredible experiences. We saw 3 mantas on our tour and they truly do swim within inches of you. Really appreciated that the tour leaves from a harbor close to the stopping point, so you only have a 3-4 minute boat ride since it can be chilly, especially after the snorkel. Jeff and team were fantastic and made sure everyone was safe and comfortable in the quite choppy waters. Would definitely do this again!

I decided to book a night Manta Ray snorkel and this company had the best reviews. They deserve it. The crew was super nice and the experience was so enjoyable. This is not actually "snorkeling" -- you hang on to a floating board that has lights suspended into the water. The plankton come up to the light and the mantra rays then come up to feed on the plankton. We got very fortunate because the very first ray we saw came within a foot of the board and was a boy. (You mainly see girls because they are bigger). We saw 13 rays in total -- the most in months per the guides. At the end, about 8 of them, did a little conga line together to scoop up more plankton. They are huge but very docile creatures and other than being a bit cold (because you are not moving just handing) it was a totally awesome experience.

Second time in the tour and it was just as good as the first time. Lots of rays that came so close they touched us.
Manta experience

Very friendly and kind crew who took great care of us. We saw at least four different mantas, all juveniles this time. They made several passes and often with two to three doing acrobatics at a time.
I am a local and have been out many times with the mantas. I have had really good experiences seeing multiple mantas at Keauhou and this was not an exception. I do enjoy have a longer viewing time but we did have a great show.
